Board Member Spotlight: Melissa Hollatz

Melissa’s day job is being a corporate partner at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, where she focuses on doing mergers and acquisitions. She has been volunteering on Next Door Solutions’ Board of Directors for 15 years, including 10 years as Board Chair. Melissa was first introduced to Next Door Solutions when she helped work on a merger with another non-profit.

“I was so impressed with the team and the mission of NDS.”

When she finished working on the merger, Board Member Pat Bashaw, asked her if she would be interested in joining the Board. The rest is history.

“I’ve been a huge fan of NDS ever since and lucky to stay involved in the years since then.”

Melissa feels very fortunate to have been involved with NDS for so long. “Working with Next Door Solutions has been incredibly rewarding”. She is still amazed at what NDS accomplishes and is really inspired by the extraordinary staff. “NDS does so much with so few resources, thanks to the exceptional people that work there and the strong community that supports it.” Melissa feels grateful and proud to have been able to support Next Door Solutions along its journey.
