Board Member Spotlight: Marianne Adoradio

Marianne was born and raised in our beautiful city of San Jose. She started working in tech very early on in her life but now helps others succeed through her work as a career coach. She was first introduced to and has been working with Next Door Solutions since 2010.

Marianne sat on the board from 2010 to 2012. Her interests had led her to put on some open house fundraising events for the organization such as the “Blues for a Cause Concert.” The concert is always a big success as music draws people of all backgrounds together. The first benefit concert Marianne co-produced was in 2012 and the performance that year, and each year after that. has drawn in people who have never heard of Next Door Solutions. Each show was a representation of someone’s journey. “It’s a humbling experience to listen in and know that the event supports the work of NDS.” Marianne remembers the first show to be exhilarating and loved seeing so many survivors of domestic violence come together to support it. Marianne’s heart still sings from that first show and from the work and people she has met since.
