Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence proudly announces the appointment of Colsaria Henderson as Executive Director starting August 31st, 2022. The selection of Ms. Colsaria Henderson to head the agency reflects NDS’ desire to continue to build its efforts to create paths for survivors to achieve safety and self-sufficiency. NDS recently celebrated its fiftieth anniversary and is well positioned to intervene in the cycle of violence and change community norms so that systemic and broader social change can happen.

Henderson is returning to NDS having previously served in the role of director of programs from 2014 to 2018. She has extensive experience in anti-violence work focused on community engagement, survivor-centered approaches, women/girls and gender-based advocacy, political and social advocacy, along with inclusion, diversity, equity, access practices. She is an experienced nonprofit leader with a demonstrated history of working in the civic and social organization industry with an MSW focused on Administration & Planning.
